There is an urgent need for an "Asia Business Coalition on AIDS" (ABCA) to provide "life changing" programs that are world class. This will change participants' view on "life and living."
ABCA shall enable coordination framework for all coalitions and facilitate learning between coalitions by sharing information and best practices about other services to avoid re-inventing the wheel (e.g. supporting workplace action, website, technical support).
ABCA aims to become the voice of business coalitions across Asia and a coordinating and disbursement mechanism for the funding of business coalitions.
ABCA will work with local service providers and NGOs to partner on general and specific initiatives.
Intensified prevention. Asia needs an organization to lead, plan, motivate, create, organize, implement and support the prevention of AIDS, with interventions combined with a required long-term and sustainable programmatic strategies. It is the intention of Asia Business Coalition on AIDS (ABCA) to provide the needed motivation and organization support for all Asian countries to implement desperately needed programs that could effect the most important group of people who are responsible for "life and living"...The Business Communities. The purpose is to protect business' most valuable asset ...Human Resource and have total influences within the workplace and communities.
Sustainable program strategies that will enable the "Business Coalition on AIDS" (BCA) to be financially "self sustainable" reqyire long standing implementation ability which business coalition can provide.
